Jenna Lyons and her partner, Cass Bird, are unofficially married! During part one of the Real Housewives of New York City season 15 reunion, Jenna, 56, confirmed that she and Cass had tied the knot in a ceremony, but with a twist — their union is not legally recognized. While discussing their relationship, Jenna explained that they had a “very playful emotional ceremony” with friends in Texas, but she emphasized that it wasn’t an official, legal marriage.
Jenna also addressed why the couple had been keeping their engagement and marriage private, saying, “We’re not in a hurry. We’re already like together so that’s the most important part.” She noted that although they haven’t yet made it official on paper, their commitment to one another remains strong.
Jenna first confirmed her engagement to Cass in October 2024 after months of speculation. The two went public with their relationship in June 2023, and Jenna teased the engagement during an appearance on Sherri when her co-star Racquel Chevremont revealed her own engagement. During the show, Sherri Shepherd pointed out a massive engagement ring on Jenna’s hand, prompting Jenna to admit, “Yes, yes!” to the rumors. She laughed as she recalled shopping for the ring, joking that the ring wasn’t “big enough” and they kept looking.
In September 2023, fans began speculating about an engagement when Jenna shared a photo with Cass, showing a diamond ring on her finger. However, a source close to Jenna clarified that the ring wasn’t an engagement ring and that she had owned it for some time.
Despite the playful teasing around the ring, Jenna confirmed their happy relationship, saying she received the ring she wanted from Cass and that they are in no rush to make things official.
