Perry, 40, discussed the significance of understanding and speaking her partner’s love language. “I’ve talked a lot about love languages and how important they are in learning your partner’s love language,” Perry shared. Through time, she discovered that her primary love languages are “acts of service” and “words of affirmation,” both of which she practices in her relationship with Bloom. She emphasized how verbal support is crucial for both of them.
Perry’s Lifetimes Tour will support her 2024 album, 143, and will kick off in Houston on May 7. She described the tour as a “love-filled spectacle” designed to celebrate her popular songs while offering an unforgettable experience for fans. Despite the excitement surrounding her tour, Perry’s priorities remain her family, health, and delivering the best performance possible. “I’m 40. I have a family. I have a whole other world outside of this,” she explained, stressing the importance of taking care of herself so she can give her all during each performance.
Regarding her relationship with Bloom, Perry previously discussed his influence as a partner in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. She described him as a “real sage” who, like herself, strives for balance between their highest good and ego. Perry also shared that they met at a Golden Globes afterparty in January 2016, with Bloom impressing her with his curiosity about life. After their engagement in 2019 and the birth of their daughter, Daisy, in 2020, Perry continues to admire Bloom, particularly his parenting during challenging times.
