How to Register For AP Exams

This year registration for AP exams will be online. Students need to complete the registration at www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/054166. The window for registration started in December and ends on February 28, 2017 at 11:59 PM. After answering all the questions, all students must print the pdf confirmation page after they complete their registration. Vista del Lago urges students to register themselves or with a parent. This assures that the correct AP exam is chosen.

Important Dates and Deadlines:

  • Regular Registration: December 2 – February 21 ($100 per exam)
  • Late Registration: February 22 – February 28 ($105 per exam)
  • After February 28th, students will not be able to register for the exam.

Important note: “Registrations that have not been paid for by the registration deadline will be canceled and exams will not be ordered.”

If a student wants to cancel an exam and get a refund they must log back onto TotalRegistration and request a refund on the website–DO NOT request a refund at school.

Websites refund policy:

 Students who cancel an exam by February 28, 2017 are entitled to a full refund of the exam fee.

  •        Students who cancel an exam by April 14, 2017 are entitled to a partial refund of $50.
  •        After April 14, 2017 there are no refunds.

Financial need:

If you establish financial need please talk to your counselor by January 27.

You can still complete your registration online prior to speaking with your counselor.
