Funny and Embarrassing Moments

There are times when we have to look back on the stupid things that we have done and laugh. Here are some embarrassing and funny moments that Vista’s students have experienced:

“At Folsom Middle School, in my eighth grade year, the school was filming a Harlem Shake video at lunch. Naturally, I decided to rip off my shirt and swing it over my head. The embarrassing part was that I thought my friends would do it, too. Unfortunately, they left me out in the dust, so I was the only one with no shirt on. I got detention, but I suppose that it was worth it for the amount of popularity that I got.” ~Deven Tran, freshman

“I was in the airport trying to find my dad who I had just lost. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt. All of a sudden, I saw him and decided to scare him. I ran and jumped on his back. Little did I know, it wasn’t him. I casually hopped off and walked away, awkwardly. I was so embarrassed that I forgot to say sorry. The worst part was that I was fourteen.” ~Anthony Baciocco, sophomore

“One time when I was at the state fair, I was getting corn dogs with my stepfather. There was a guy wearing the same shirt as my stepfather, who I thought was my stepfather in the moment, and I thought it would be funny to take a bite out of the corn dog that he was holding. I went up and took a bite out of the corn dog. The guy turned around and I realized that it wasn’t my stepfather. He gave me a look of disbelief and handed me the corn dog.” ~Noah Wardell, senior
